BIO
Estimate, aka Esto, is rapper and producer Matt Doval, born and raised in Spokane, WA.
He’s been rapping since a young age, but didn’t start learning production until around 2014. He quickly fell in love with making beats, and started releasing music under the Estimate moniker shortly after.
He found a place in the beat community online, and eventually became friends with Nico Sanchez, aka KLEFTO, bonding over a similar ear for samples and a drive to create an exciting hip hop community in Bellingham.
Currently, Esto has been living in Seattle WA, honing his production chops and working to find his voice as an emcee. Some of his influences include (but are not limited to) - Nas, MF DOOM, Madlib, Alchemist, Knxwledge, Swarvy, Nickelus F, J Dilla / Slum Village, Mac Miller, Frank Ocean, Quelle Chris... etc.
Esto has been a part of the Black Noise Records family since its conception, and is releasing his next full length as a collaboration with OG Neeks this January.
