BIO
ideism is a producer, keyboard player, and artist based in the upper northwest.
With influences ranging from modern jazz fusion acts such as Yussef Kamaal and Joe Armon-Jones, to west coast beat scene giants like Flying Lotus and Mndsgn, ideism paints a tapestry of sound both familiar and original.
Since releasing his first project on Inner Ocean Records, his tracks have featured on compilations from the likes of Black Noise Records, Chillhop, Fuzzoscope, Phonolith, and SVNSET WAVES. As a musician he also writes and plays keys in the group Midnight Theory, a groove outfit steeped in the influence of jazz, funk, breakbeat, and hip-hop.
